Virtual Tour of the ARC

The ARC at Mill Lodge is made up of 2 classrooms: Green Class and Blue Class. Each classroom has been designed to include a sensory room/breakout space for children who may need a quiet space to regulate during the day.

Our ARC building is a safe and inviting environment which the children complete their full School Day in, including snack times and lunchtime.

We also have our own separate sensory room called 'The Sensory Den'. This is where the children have the opportunity to complete sensory circuits during the day, and provides a calm space for intervention work on a 1:1 level. Professionals that may visit your child(ren) in setting may use this space also.

We encourage language and communication throughout the setting, and have ensured that each room has a variety of communication aides available for the children to access.

Our outside area is specifically for the ARC children, and has been designed with their needs in mind. We have a variety of sensory activities for them to engage in, including but not limited to: tyre swings, tube slides, climbing dome, water pipes and a large trampoline.

Please take a look at our photo gallery below to get an idea of what the setting looks like.
