Communication at the ARC

Morning drop-offs

When you drop your child off in the morning, you will have the opportunity to discuss with an adult how they have been and if there is anything you need to update us with.

The mornings can be hectic at times, and a detailed discussion may not be appropriate at the time. We will happily arrange a time that suits you to discuss your questions or concerns in person at a different time.

Afternoon collections

At the end of the School day, an adult will bring your child out to you from the ARC building. The adult will discuss what your child has done today, what their focus is currently, and any incidents that may have happened during the day.

Class Dojo

In the event that your child is not personally collected from the ARC, we will use Class Dojo to provide a written handover of their day. If there is anything that happens during the day that we need to inform you of, we will also use Class Dojo for this purpose as well.

Tapestry

Tapestry is an online platform tool that we use to celebrate, support and engage with children, families and staff. Tapestry is used to document each child’s unique learning and development, and streamline planning, monitoring and reporting processes. We regularly upload pictures and videos of your child participating in various activities; we encourage all of our families to look on Tapestry and like/comment!
